Eastern Acoustic Works,  a leading manufacturer of concert loudspeakers, needed a custom built member database for their "elite" members.

We built a mod_perl, CGI::Application and HTML::Template based system that features:

• A full-text index with full boolean capabilities,
• A completely templatted system that allows our work to fit seamlessly into their funky-but-professional image,
• The ability for customers to add/edit/update their own records without admin intervention,
• Custom "sort by" column headers,
• Automatic "spam armoring" for email addresses,
• A fine-grained caching system to reduce server load,
• Automated maintenance,
• And built-in usage and "staleness" reports for the admins.
